As a St. George photographer dedicated to capturing life’s most beautiful milestones, I’ve always been moved by the stories and experiences of the families I photograph. Over the past year, witnessing the financial hardships many faced, I realised an uncomfortable truth – financial constraints were causing people to miss out on preserving these irreplaceable moments. Determined to change this, I’m thrilled to introduce a new tiered pricing structure and a membership option, ensuring that these precious memories are accessible to everyone, regardless of budget.
Why Tiered Pricing?
This model is more than just a pricing strategy; it’s about inclusivity and flexibility. It ensures that every family gets the same immersive experience while fitting comfortably within their financial means. From the joy of pregnancy to the charm of a baby’s first year, I believe everyone deserves to have these moments turned into lasting art.
Understanding the Tiers
Each photography journey begins with a $175 session fee, which includes our initial consultation to discuss wardrobe, location and time. It also includes access to an array of gowns, dresses, baby wraps, and props, and the time at our session itself.
Then 2 weeks after the session, you’ll get an email from me letting you know that your photos are ready, but I do this part a little differently from a lot of other photographers.
Most photographers just send you a gallery and kind of leave you to your own devices, but getting your
photos is an exciting event and I want it to FEEL exciting! So what I do is I take all of your photos –
usually that’s somewhere around 60 images – and I create a slideshow set to music. My hope is that you will gather around the biggest screen you have and hit the play button so that you can see your photos for the first time together, and really relive that experience – it’s a part of the process that my clients absolutely love. That slideshow will give you the ability to look through all of your photos, and you’ll have access to it for a full 48 hours, so you can watch it as many times as you like, share it with any friends and family. Then, once you’ve had a chance to see all of your photos, you’ll be able to make an
informed decision about which of the three collections I offer you’d like to purchase.
And again, the way I structure my collections is different from the way you might’ve seen this done in the past, but I do it this way because it gives you the ability to get exactly what you want. Each collection includes two things: a certain number of digital files and a certain amount of print credit that you can use in my online store to purchase things like prints, holiday cards, albums, and framed art.
The Collections
- Collection A is $375 and includes 15 digital files and $75 in print credit;
- Collection B is $575 and includes 30 digital files, a short 2-3 minute film of your session and $200 in print credit
- collection C is $775, that one includes all of the digital files from the session, your short 2-3 minute film from your session, and $400 in print credit, which – to give you an example, would be enough to cover a 16×20 hanging canvas or layflat album in the store.
The Membership Advantage
Because I know that there are multiple milestones within a year (especially that first one), my new membership option breaks down fees into manageable monthly payments. For $475, members can choose between 2 to 4 sessions over the year. You will also enjoy $100 off each collection purchase, receive exclusive invitations to annual events, and more. This option offers a savings of over $1000 compared to booking individual sessions.
More Than Just Photos
My goal extends beyond just photography. The higher-tier packages and membership offer a greater quantity of images. But they also provide high-quality prints and videos, enriching the overall experience. These aren’t just photos; they’re heirloom treasures that will tell your family’s story for generations.
